Thanksgiving Holiday Hours Announced for MWR Facilities

Morale, Welfare and Recreation at NAS Patuxent River / NRC Solomons has announced hours of operations at its facilities for the Thanksgiving holiday. 

Auto Skills Center: Closed Nov. 28-29

Cedar Point Golf Course: Closed Nov. 28; open 8 a.m.-dusk Nov. 29 (normal hours of operation). Beginning Dec. 1, Cedar Point Golf Course will open at Mondays at 11 a.m., Tuesday-Friday at 9 a.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays at 8 a.m.

Center Stage Coffee Shop: Closed Nov. 28-29

Community Recreation Office: Closed Nov. 28-29

Drill Hall: Closed Nov. 28; open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 29. Usage of the Drill Hall is also permitted outside of normal operating hours (registration required). Click here for more information.

Drill Hall Indoor Pool: Closed Nov. 28; open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 29

Flight Deck Lounge: Open 3:30-8 p.m. Nov. 27; closed Nov. 28-29 (normally closed on Fridays).

Liberty Center: Open 12-2:30 p.m. Nov. 28 (free Thanksgiving meal); open 2-10 p.m. Nov. 29 (normal hours of operation)

MWR Administration Office: Closed Nov. 28-29

NRC Solomons Administration Office: Closed Nov. 28; open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 29 (normal hours of operation)

NRC Solomons Lodging Office: Closed Nov. 28; open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 29 (normal hours of operation)

Strike Zone Bowling Center: Closed Nov. 28; open 12-5 p.m. Nov. 29

West Basin Marina: Closed Nov. 28; open 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Nov. 29 (normal hours of operation)
