'The Great HOP-pening' Easter Event

Join MWR Community Recreation for the most hop-pening event of the season!

This new, FREE event takes place at the NAS Patuxent River Parade Field on Friday, March 29 from 3-6 p.m. and will feature an egg hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, The Salted Scoop ice cream truck, free face painting and balloon art, tea giveaway, inflatables and more. Open to all with base access!

The egg hunt will begin at 3 p.m. and will be held according to age groups: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 9-12.

Donations of individually wrapped candy are needed! Bags of candy, which will be used to fill Easter eggs, can be dropped off at the Community Recreation Office on Cedar Point Road, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
