The U.S. Oyster Festival returns to the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown Oct. 19 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Oct. 20 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and you can attend for less when you purchase tickets through MWR Community Recreation!
The event features entertainment, shucking contest, oyster tasting and food.
One-day tickets are $11 (no additional taxes or fees) through MWR versus $15. Children under 12 are free.
Tickets may be purchased in person at the Community Recreation Office Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Open to all with base access!
