Discount tickets to the Cinderella & Prince Charming Ball Casino Night on Saturday, April 13 from 8 p.m.-midnight at The Rex in Leonardtown are available through the Community Recreation Office.
The event will feature:
- Poker
- Black Jack
- Roulette
- Craps
- Queen of Hearts (modified)
- 50/50 Raffle
- Silent Auction
The MWR ticket price is $66 versus $75 at the door. Tickets are available to all with base access and may be purchased at the Community Recreation Office, open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Carolyn E. Parker Foundation and Reach Back & Lift 1 (RB&L1) in support of Project Cinderella and the Prince Charming Project initiatives.
In 2013, the Carolyn E. Parker Foundation initiated Project Cinderella and has provided approximately 700 dresses to girls at two local middle schools. RB&L1 joined the effort in 2021 by supplying outfits for 27 middle school boys. Both organizations are committed to meeting the growing need through strategic partnerships with school administrators, nonprofits, and community-focused local businesses. and work to ensure that every 8th-grade girl and boy desiring to attend the End-of-the-Year Dance is confidently dressed to enjoy their formal dance experience.
The Rex is located at 22695 Washington Street in Leonardtown, Maryland.
