'Battle of the Bases' Softball Team Tryouts

MWR Fitness is looking for Active Duty athletes to form a team that will represent NAS Patuxent River at this year's 'Battle of the Bases' softball tournament.

Tryouts for the Pax River team will be held Friday, Aug. 2 at 5 p.m. at the Drill Hall Campos Field and are open to ALL Active Duty, even those who haven't participated in the base softball league.

The tournament will be held Aug. 24-25 at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The championship game will be held on Sept. 14 at Nationals Park, immediately following the 4:05 p.m. Nationals game against the Marlins.
